The North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association’s Board of Directors is elected annually by its membership. In adherence with our bylaws, each member of NCSEA in good standing is entitled to one vote in the Board of Directors election. The election results will be certified and announced at NCSEA’s Annual Membership Meeting, which will be held during the “MAKING ENERGY WORK” conference on Thursday, September 30th in Winston-Salem. Directors will serve for three years beginning on January 1, 2011. One third of the Directors are elected each year and no Director can serve more than two consecutive terms. Below you will find instructions on how to cast your ballot.
NOMINATING PROCESS
NCSEA's 2010 Nominating Committee is please to put forth four highly-qualified candidates for election to the NCSEA Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee placed a major emphasis on ensuring that the NCSEA Board of Directors is representative of the full spectrum of sustainable energy solutions available in North Carolina and the diverse perspectives of its people.
After careful consideration of NCSEA’s bylaws, eligibility criteria, and a thorough analysis of NCSEA’s needs, the Nominating Committee is pleased to present the following slate of candidates for election to the 2011 Board of Directors. Each of these qualified individuals has pledged their time and willingness to ensure the advancement of NCSEA and its mission to create a sustainable energy future for all North Carolinians.

INSTRUCTIONS ON VOTING AND SUBMITTING YOUR BALLOT

Clearly print your name, hometown and the date on your ballot and submit it to NCSEA via only one of the following three options:

Complete an electronic ballot online; or
-
Fax your paper ballot to (919) 832-6967 (must be received by Monday, Sept. 27th by 5 pm); or
-
Mail your paper ballot to NCSEA at PO Box 6465, Raleigh, NC 27628 (must be received by Monday, Sept. 27th by 5 pm); or
- Hand deliver your completed paper ballot on Thursday, Sept. 30 between 8-8:30 am to NCSEA staff at the registration table prior to the start of the Annual Membership Meeting at the Winston-Salem Convention Center. Your ballot will be given to Board Secretary Sascha Struckmeyer prior to the start of the Annual Membership Meeting.
