‘Advancing North Carolina’s Clean Energy Future’
North Carolina is a top 10 state for cumulative installed solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity. The cost of installing solar in our state continues to drop and is becoming increasingly more competitive with conventional electricity sources. What role has the law played in this exemplary ranking? How has the demand for renewable energy resources made clean energy more accessible to the state’s residents, business owners, the military and others?
When will renewable energy reach grid parity in North Carolina, or has it already? And, what energy efficiency measures should be taken at state and local levels to ensure a brighter clean energy future? Get answers to these questions and raise some of your own when leaders from the NC Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA) and the NC Solar Center gather for a dynamic discussion.
NCSEA Executive Director Ivan Urlaub will give a give his presenation from the "Energy Choices Now" Roadshow for those who could not make the Elizabeth City event. To download a copy of the agenda, click here.
