The High Country Green Building and Solar Tour features a wide variety of renewable energy and green building technologies.  Some of these sites will showcase small wind, biodiesel processing, passive and active solar and much more!

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.  Same day registration will be available at the kick off event.

The kick off event for this tour will be held at the Watauga County Cooperative Extension Office, 971 W. King Street in Boone.  Breakfast begins at 8 am and a green building presentation will be given.  A biodiesel powered tour bus will take registrants to all site locations and leaves promptly at 8:45am.  Lunch will be served on the tour and the registrants will be dropped off at the Extension Office by 4pm.

The cost of the tour is $25.00 per individual and $15.00 for NCSEA members or students.  To take advantage of the NCSEA discount, sign up for membership today.
