The Wilmington Area Solar and Green Building Tour will feature over 10 examples of green building practices, renewable energy examples and low impact development techniques.  This tour includes a wide variety of technologies showcased in small and practical to spectacular scale.

There will be a pre-tour social event on Friday, October 5th, downtown at Bailey's Park/Toomer's Alley from 7-9pm.  Tickets to the event are $20 per person or $10 for Cape Fear Green Building Alliance members and can be purchased at the following locations:  Sambuca - 200 N. Front Street, B + O design studio - 205 Princess St., Progressive Gardens - 5732 Oleander Drive #A, or at the door on Friday, October 5th.

The kick off event for the tour will be held at Bailey's Park/Toomer's Alley starting at 9am.  A full listing of sites with maps and directions can be picked up at this location.  The cost of the tour is $10.00 for individuals and $5.00 for NCSEA or CFGBA members (see links below).  To take advantage of the NCSEA membership discount, sign up today.  Additionally, a complimentary Green Expo with vendors, community groups and other organizations and will take place Saturday from 9am - 4 pm at Bailey Park.
