This is your chance to see more than 75 homes, businesses, schools and government facilities featuring green building products and technologies on this self-guided tour in communities across North Carolina.

The Green Building & Solar Tour in the Wilmington area, which is conducted by NCSEA in collaboration with the Cape Fear Green Building Alliance and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), educates citizens with the most up-to-date information on a wide range of green building solutions and technologies, available all across our state. Participants also realize that they have an opportunity to implement these solutions in their own homes and offices.
The Wilmington Tour will feature eight sites that are outstanding examples of the solar and green building strategies and techniques actively being incorporated into our area. The tour will run from 10am-5pm.
Kick-Off Event: Bailey Park on Front Street, Wilmington. (Pick up your local tour guide, which includes information on the Wilmington tour sites, addresses and a detailed map, the statewide Green Building & Solar Tour book, and other educational materials.)
In conjunction with the tour, the public is also invited to visit the CFGBA Green Expo, which will be held in Bailey Park on Front Street from 10am until 4pm. Businesses will be on hand to showcase and discuss a variety of sustainable products and services offered in the Wilmington area. The Expo is free and open to the public.
