Green Building and Solar Tour: Fayetteville
The 2008 Green Building & Solar Tour is your chance to see more than 75 homes, businesses, schools and government facilities featuring green building products and technologies on this self-guided tour in communities across North Carolina.
As part of the statewide tour, which is conducted by NCSEA in collaboration with local
organizers and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), the Fayetteville Area Energy Savings Expo will be held at the Cumberland County Crown Exposition Center from 10am-7pm.
The free event will feature exhibitors such as building contractors, building material suppliers, Energy Star appliance dealers, plumbers and HVAC contractors. Local energy and water utilities will be giving away CFLs and other water and energy-saving devices. Presentations throughout the day will focus on tips and projects that families can take home and implement immediately.
