2011 Clean Energy Legislative Guide

Overview of all energy related legislation being considered this session, including non-sustainable energy resources.
Published: April 15, 2011

NCSEA is pleased to announce the 7th edition of its annual North Carolina Clean Energy Legislative Guide, which provides information and bill status on all energy-related bills introduced during this year's legislative session.  (This document, including bill status, is updated weekly during the legislative session.)

Annually, this guide reaches over 15,000 citizens, playing a vital role in educating the public about pending and recent legislation concerning: renewable energy, energy efficiency and high performance buildings, smart grid, energy and economic development, and other energy sources.

The guide also explains how a bill becomes a law, and overviews the form and function of the NC Utilities Commission.
