The office supports the Governor’s agenda through policy and budget development, research, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Conceptualizing, researching, and drafting policy briefs, memos, and executive orders;
- Engaging with stakeholders and constituents; and
- Working closely with cabinet agencies on policy priorities and implementation.
The right person for this job is a detail- and deadline-oriented go-getter who is passionate about public service and excited to work on the wide variety of public policy issues that face the state. Applicants must have the ability to analyze and synthesize information across a variety of issue areas and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Portfolio issues may include health care, workforce, IT, small business, and others.
