The Role of Energy Efficiency and Electrification in Decarbonization

NCSEA is hosting a series of informative panel conversations and networking events throughout the year leading up to the annual Making Energy Work Conference. We’ll be hosting these events across the state to provide a preview of the content and network of professionals you’ll engage with at the in-person conference.

In the September version of NCSEA’s Making Energy NetWork Policy Forum, a panel of experts will outline the state of energy efficiency/electrification policies and incentives in North Carolina, and where we’re tracking towards our state’s goals. This conversation will cover the incentives and rebates currently available through the federal government and state energy office, while outlining some of the challenges and opportunities we have in policy to further unlock a future where energy efficiency plays a significant role in decarbonizing our electricity and buildings sectors. We’ll also highlight some of the most innovative and cutting-edge projects currently under development throughout the region.
