As the Director of Core Services, Karen Gardner plans and directs NCSEA’s core business functions including human resources, accounting and finance, information technology, and administrative support services.  She ensures NCSEA’s policies, resources and business processes are compliant and support organizational objectives.

Karen earned her BS degree from University of Maine and has over 25 years of Human Resources and Operations experience, specializing in organizational planning and development.  Her experience spans the non-profit, environmental, sustainable energy, and biotechnology sectors.
