Karen is a Senior Operations Advisor providing operational and project support to NCSEA’s teams. Prior to her consulting role, Karen served as NCSEA’s Director of Core Services from 2019 through early 2024. In this role she planned and directed the organization’s core business functions, ensuring NCSEA’s policies, resources and business processes are compliant and support organizational objectives.

Karen earned a BS degree from University of Maine, her Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) certification, and her Leading with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion certification from University of Utah. In addition, she has over 25 years of Human Resources and Operations experience spanning the non-profit, environmental, sustainable energy, and biotechnology sectors.
