Our Today, Their Tomorrow
It’s easy to look beyond the present and into the future, hoping that what we lack today will be available to everyone in the years to come. The challenge that often comes with looking so far ahead is it's incredibly easy to miss what’s right in front of us during this moment. What if, instead of thinking about the far future, we focused on the present, the now, and those currently impacted by our choices? After all, what we do today will absolutely shape the many tomorrows.
The future of North Carolina depends upon our children, and exposing our little ones to the possibilities of a clean energy future begins today, right now, with us. We’ve already come quite far with ensuring that children who live and are educated in North Carolina have some access to clean energy.
Undoubtedly, we have more work to do and it's even more important that we do it together. North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA) is asking you to give a tax-deductible (by December 31) donation for our annual giving campaign, Our Today, Their Tomorrow, that will help us achieve our goal of raising $20,000 this calendar year. Your financial support greatly contributes to our efforts in the energy policy landscape that enables and moves us all closer to the affordable and equitable clean energy future we desire for our children. Thank you for your continued support.
In addition to your donation, we invited you to celebrate the artistic talents of the children you know and love. NCSEA is pleased to present the 2021 Youth Art Competition where young minds can express their love for clean energy with creativity. Check out the entries here.
Three young winners will be selected from the following categories:
- Elementary School Artist (Grades K-5)
- Middle School Artist (Grades 6-8)
- High School Artist (Grades 9-12)
